We will collect, hold and use the following:
- Name

- Address and telephone number(s)
- E-mail address(es).
In addition, we will collect and hold, where necessary, details of members’ bank accounts and bank sort codes. We will use these data to:

- Inform members of Blythe Sapper functions such as the four annual luncheons and the Guest and Ladies Night Dinner.
- Prepare and circulate to the Council, Management Committee and new members a membership list.
Members’ and potential members’ details are not shared with any third parties although the management board may from time to time share members’ and potential members’ personal data (but not your bank details) with Headquarters Royal Engineers in pursuit of the legitimate interests of the Blythe Sappers. We do not use automated profiling or sorting of personal data and it will never be shared with any external marketing organisations. We will retain your data for as long as members subscribe to the organisation or until members ask us to delete their personal data.
Members may withdraw their consent to data provided by them at any time by writing to us, with proof of identity, identifying the data to be removed. Members or potential members who wish to complain about any aspect of how we process personal data should get in touch, in the first instance, with the Secretary Blythe Sappers or should an adequate response not be received, then the Data Protection Officer; details of both are given below. Should a member of potential member wish to take further action, the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us/helpline/ will be able to assist.
